Moxy NYC Lower East Side Reviews
Amazing Experience with Outstanding ServiceMy stay was absolutely perfect! I want to highlight the kindness and professionalism of all the hotel staff — everyone was incredibly attentive and polite. A special thanks to Alex, who works at the entrance and always welcomed us with a smile and great courtesy.I also want to mention the restaurant Saké no Hana, located inside the hotel. In addition to the impeccable food, the service was exceptional. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful, making our experience even more special.Everything was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend it!
May 30, 2025 · Santal BentleyThe rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had an incredible view and the hotel had a very cool vibe. The coffee bar in the lounge made a great latte and had tasty treats, too! It’s important to note that there is a nightclub on the roof or in the building that plays loud music until 4am Thursday - Saturday. We were on the 13th floor and could hear the base and feel the vibrations from the music until 4am. Not sure if lower floors would be able to hear it.
Apr 20, 2025 · Halley EidsonWe spent three nights at Moxy LES and absolutely loved it! While the room was quite compact, which is typical in NYC, it was immaculate, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were welcoming, and the perks were wonderful. We received a daily credit to use at the cafe and bar, which was a great bonus! They had an included grab-and-go breakfast each morning, which was perfect to start a busy day of exploring. The hotel is located in a charming and safe neighbourhood with plenty of shopping and is just steps away from Chinatown. Overall we had a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a hotel in the Lower East Side, look no further!
Mar 19, 2025 · Shauna HRooms were clean but the bathroom lacked space to get dressed. (The rooms are small and you have to try and not drop clothing in a wet shower while trying to get dressed/undressed.) I’ve stayed at other moxy hotels and this one shrank a bit.The bar was not the greatest. The bartender rattled off what was available for comp beverages (open wine bottles that should’ve been thrown out already).Housekeeping was fantastic. Front desk was helpful. Did not eat at the hotel, but grabbed pastries at the cafe in the lobby. The goods are marked up for hotel clients. If you go online to order/pickup you’ll see $2-5 added on.Location is fantastic. Filming was in progress in little Italy; stone’s throw to SOHO & Chinatown; metro stops nearby; self-parking available.
Apr 18, 2025 · R CepedaTldr; if you’re looking for a party hotel it’s great, if you want to sleep at normal hours then best to avoid.Hotel has a lot of positives, but also some pain points.Good things are the decor, cleanliness, location, gym. It feels like a luxury hotel.Bad points are: loud music late into the night with heavy base. We called the lobby multiple times asking for it to be turned down but there wasn’t much they could do. They moved us to the 10th floor but we had the same problem. Especially annoying since the noise comes from a bar linked to the hotel.Other pain point is the destination fee of $38 per night which seems an arbitrary additional cost. You get $20 credits at the cafe as part of this but it’s so expensive it only covered two coffees each day.
