Like most hotels in a competitive market like New York City, the Truss Hotel Times Square frequently offers various promotions and special deals to attract guests. These offers are dynamic and can change based on seasonality, demand, and booking channels. While specific, real-time promotions are best found directly on the hotel's official website or through reputable travel booking platforms, here are general types of offers you might typically find:
Advance Purchase Rates: Booking your stay well in advance can often secure a discounted rate. These rates usually come with a non-refundable policy, so it's important to be sure of your travel dates.
Seasonal Promotions: Hotels often roll out special packages tied to specific seasons (e.g., "Summer in the City" deals, holiday specials) or major events happening in New York City. These might include percentage discounts on room rates.
Stay Longer & Save: For those planning an extended visit, the hotel might offer reduced nightly rates for stays of a certain duration, such as three nights or more.
Loyalty Program Benefits: While Truss Hotel Times Square is not part of a major chain loyalty program like Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors (it is an independent boutique hotel), it may have its own direct booking benefits or partnerships with smaller loyalty initiatives. Always check their official website for any direct booking advantages.
AAA/AARP Member Discounts: If you are a member of AAA or AARP, it's always worth checking if the hotel offers a specific discount for members.
Package Deals: Occasionally, hotels partner with local attractions or tour operators to offer package deals that combine accommodation with tickets to Broadway shows, museum admissions, or other city experiences.
Government/Military Rates: Special rates may be available for active and retired military personnel and government employees upon presentation of valid ID.
To find the most current and applicable promotions for the Truss Hotel Times Square, it is highly recommended to visit their official website directly or consult reputable online travel agencies. Always carefully review the terms and conditions associated with each offer, as they may have specific booking windows, stay dates, and cancellation policies. Given past customer feedback regarding outdated website information for amenities like the rooftop, it's particularly important to verify details for any promotional offers directly with the hotel.

For New Yorkers, the Truss Hotel Times Square presents a surprisingly suitable and convenient option for various reasons, extending beyond merely accommodating tourists. Its particular attributes make it an attractive choice for locals seeking a comfortable and well-located base within the city.
Firstly, its strategic location in Midtown West, specifically on 9th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen, offers an ideal balance. Its central location ensures that guests can easily explore all of Manhattan’s iconic sights, while the excellent public transportation access empowers them to venture further into other boroughs independently. This takes pressure off local hosts, providing visitors with a convenient and accessible home base. The fact that rooms are a "decent size for NYC" also means guests will find them more comfortable than some of the notoriously small rooms in other Manhattan hotels.

For a local looking for convenience, a comfortable stay, and a central yet not overly chaotic base from which to experience the city's pulse, this hotel is a solid and suitable choice. Truss Hotel Times Square Reviews
Slightly confusing that we had booked the Cassa Hotel and turned up to find it was Truss Hotel but after that everything was fine. Receptionists were a hit and miss in terms of attention and positivity but again, fine. Rooms were a decent size for NYC, clean enough but definitely no frills. AC was functional but very loud. Decent bathroom, well equipped and clean. Surprisingly quiet despite being on 9th avenue. The area is a bit rough but didn't feel unsafe. Super easy toget to all the big sights on foot or via subways within easy walking distance. Found plenty of good eateries in close proximity too. If you're looking for a relatively affordable stay in a good location, this is a good option.
Apr 25, 2025 · Annie MajorLocation was great for what we wanted. Room was ample size & facilities served our purpose. Staff where very helpful too & informative. A few issues we did have got sorted quickly. However the advertised roof top garden was not available & the website was not up to date with the current status
May 25, 2025 · Martin McleanWe came to town to see a show and I wanted to find some place within walking distance. I couldn't be happier that we found The Truss Hotel! From the moment we arrived Jessy was AMAZING! She took such great care of us! She made sure we had everything we needed and was just wonderful all around! I will definitely be back to stay next time I am in town! Jessy-you are the absolute BEST!!!
Apr 20, 2025 · Yalanda McGhee SanchezI was so nervous when booking, but I am so happy I chose the Truss! From the moment we got there, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful! On our second day the housekeeping even lined up my kids stuffed animals on the bed so sweetly! (because you know we can’t travel without at least 5) ! The hotel was relaxing and beautiful! I can’t remember even hearing and honking or noises from outside either. It is a few blocks from the metro but it’s so much better than staying right in Times Square! We tried to stay for a third night however they were booked up already! We will definitely be back!!
Apr 24, 2025 · Kendall LaChancePerfect central location with many restaurants and amenities close by. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay here again because of the excellent customer service they provided. It's a small affordable hotel but the only noises we heard were sirens periodically, which is to be expected in a big city. The rooms could have been a little cleaner and the bedside lights randomly turned on in the middle of night. Other than that, the hotel suited our needs. The rooftop views were an added bonus!
