Keep an eye out for seasonal discounts, especially during off-peak travel times, which might include winter months (excluding holidays) or certain weeks in the late summer. For New Yorkers, the Cassa Hotel Times Square, despite some of its noted considerations, holds a distinct suitability that goes beyond just accommodating out-of-town guests. Its most compelling asset is, without a doubt, its prime location. As locals, we understand the immense value of strategic positioning in this city. Whether you're planning a staycation to truly experience the theater district without the late-night commute home, attending an event at the nearby Javits Center, or simply needing a convenient hub for a busy schedule of meetings across Midtown, the Cassa Hotel offers unparalleled access. Its proximity to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and multiple subway lines means you can easily navigate any part of the five boroughs, making it a pragmatic choice for internal city travel.
While some feedback points to room size and amenities, for many New Yorkers, a hotel room is often viewed as a comfortable base for sleeping and refreshing, rather than an extended living space. The Cassa Hotel fits this practical mold perfectly. You're paying for the location and the convenience it affords, allowing you to maximize your time exploring the city's countless offerings. For those hosting visiting friends or family who are keen to experience the quintessential New York City atmosphere, but perhaps on a more modest budget, this hotel offers a central and accessible option that keeps them right in the thick of the action.

In essence, the Cassa Hotel Times Square serves as a functional, well-situated launchpad for city adventures, proving to be a suitable option for New Yorkers seeking a convenient and access-oriented stay in the very heart of Manhattan.

Cassa Hotel Times Square Reviews
My recent stay at this New York hotel was a bit of a mixed experience, with both positives and negatives to consider. Let me break it down for you.Firstly, the room size left something to be desired. They appeared smaller in reality compared to the pictures online. While this wasn't a deal-breaker, it was a bit disappointing, especially if you're used to spacious accommodations.Next, the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. It's always a letdown to encounter cleanliness issues, and it was a notable drawback during my stay. The air conditioning unit also had its quirks. It was effective at keeping the room cool, but it made quite a racket. If you're a light sleeper, this could potentially be a nuisance. On the upside, there was minimal noise from the outside, which allowed for a relatively peaceful night's rest. This was a definite plus, considering the bustling nature of New York City. When it came to the hotel's staff, they were friendly but seemed to be on autopilot. While they did ask how our stay was going each evening, their attention quickly shifted back to their computer screens before we could even respond. This lack of personal engagement was a noticeable aspect of the service. In terms of value for money, I have to admit that there may be better choices in New York City. The combination of room size, cleanliness, and service didn't quite justify the price tag for me.On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located for exploring the city. Its central position made it easy to navigate and access various attractions. In conclusion, this New York hotel has its pros and cons. If you're primarily looking for a well-located base to explore the city and don't mind sacrificing some room size and personalized service, it might be worth considering. However, if you prioritize a more spacious and immaculate accommodation experience, you may want to explore other options in the city that offer better value for your money.
Sep 20, 2023 · Sam MaerienThe location is good and the view from the roof is cool in good weather. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The room is basic and the first night we did not get the full set of towels, but the second night we got the towels. The bed is not very comfortable. The shower is very awkward. The breakfast is very cheap. Somebody needs to teach them how to make scrambled eggs so they are not a tasteless glob.
Oct 31, 2019 · Tatyana FedorikhinaI had nice and friendly moments at hotelI spent two nights at the hotel and very happy with my time here.I really impressed by the friendly receptionist here- Ms. Lucy. We were a group of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids), at that time, we just could book queen bed as other rooms were not available. the queen bed was quite small for us, so she arranged an extra bed for us to help us have a comfortable time here.besides that, the hotel facilities are good with cozy and modern interiors, the bath gel, and shampoo's scent are quite nice. The hotel also offers breakfast which i think it is good for the offering price.(several drinks, cereal, milk, fruits, eggs, water etc)
Aug 20, 2019 · Thuy ThuAlways start with the positive things, right? Well, the most important thing (bed) is really comfy and huge in Cassa. The rooms are quite spacious, the staff is very friendly, and the overall impression is fine. But when looked at the details, we have strong doubts if the hotel is worth its 4 star rating. It looks like they've never spend a dollar on maintenance. The hotel is not old, but it's starting to look old already.Holes in the towels. And last but not least is the breakfast, which is mentioned in other reviews as well. Definitely not worth the 4 stars. Especially the plastic tableware is making it extra poor.Don't get me wrong. We had a nice stay in the hotel. But if a 4 star rate is important to you, look further.
Jan 26, 2018 · Martijn vdJIt was hard to find even with turn by turn GPS. Staff was really nice. Hotel rooms were dingy and not well appointed. Diana helped us during check in and was great. Michael provided excellent service when we got in after an outing. However for the price - the rooms were dingy and the bathrooms needed maintenance. The walls were scuffed and appeared dirty though the room was well cleaned. We couldn’t figure out what it was besides the dirty walls but realized there was no art work or anything to make it feel “home-like”. Our room window overlooked a sketchy patio where music played all night though it wasn’t the rooftop deck. We would not stay here again nor would we recommend it to others despite the good customer service. Breakfast was good and simple.
