I was living in government housing (shelter system) for 4 ½ years before I moved here. The feeling of the entire “change/moving” idea overwhelmed me with quite a bit of fear and anxiety that I had to internalize alone and mostly while isolating. Since I was able to finish the move, I feel much stronger in that I have grown into a new strength. People are friendly and outgoing, like always returning a polite hello in the elevator (I am starting to think that's what the elevator is there for). Great security, which I might love the most because I am literally afraid of my own shadow, lol. Overall, Kenmore Hall is worth this/my testimony!

But there are some things that are disturbing people roaming the hallways all times during the night. People blasting their music and no one seem to do anything about it. It's an impressively sophisticated student haven from Park to 2nd Ave.. The youth, here, contribute to a stable yet energetic neighborhood atmosphere. I've come to greatly respect and admire the students attending Baruch, The College of Visual Arts and NYU.
