Archer Hotel New York Reviews
Somewhat decent place to stay when you are in NY. We stayed for 5 nights here and we paid 445 USD/night (incl. taxes). The room we had was moderately clean with sheets not sparkly clean and with an extremely sticky bathroom floor but maybe these are the NY cleaning standards…Despite the fact that the doors are very loud and thin so you could hear anything, it was very quiet at night and we could sleep and relax. The bed was very comfortable even though there were some bumps in the mattress. The bathroom was small but not that uncomfortable and it had a very good ventilation. The location was very good and not in the middle of the noisy touristic sites so you can have a good night sleep. There were 8 min walk to Times Square, close to subway stations, markets and restaurants nearby. For the money we paid, we believe the cleanliness should be improved and the mattresses renewed.
May 04, 2025 · Georgiana GirlescuStayed here for Valentine’s Day and scenery in their skyline rooftop was class- really enjoyed the view of the Empire State Building while sipping on cocktails. The rooms were of good size, some of the reviews mentioned they were small but to me I argue otherwise. Location location location, this hotel is situated in a good spot where most attractions are of a good length of a walk. A cozy and stylish hotel that I will be returning to and using their other locations when travelling
Feb 20, 2025 · ToriI love the Archer. If the rooms were larger, or whenever I come to NYC solo, there would be no better place to stay. Because of my age and that NYC was my home for my first 18 years, I know NYC hotels. I visit often. The small rooms are perfectly laid out, with everything you need. The bed is large, comfortable, and the lighting is good. Bathrooms have great water pressure and thick towels. Everybody working at the Archer is friendly, helpful, and engaging. Even Housekeeping, the bane of every hotel, is fantastic. However, when I asked the manager if the Archer might have rooms that could accommodate my wife and me, he looked at my luggage and said honestly, "Not if your wife travels like you do."I ate at and enjoyed the Archer's restaurant and returned with my wife to have cocktails on their fabulous rooftop lounge. The Archer felt like home. Maybe we could get two rooms and use one room just for our stuff. That's how much I enjoyed staying at the Archer. It is a great NYC hotel.
Mar 20, 2025 · Philip GissenAs stated in other reviews, rooms are compact, but not that bad. The hotel is smaller, which improves the experience. I'm a bit of a "clean freak," and this hotel doesn't give me any pause. Service and staff are excellent. My wife and I are very happy with our choice for a long weekend in midtown. It's definitely worth a small sacrifice on room size.
Feb 20, 2025 · Tim JolleyExcellent stay at the Archer Hotel. The Archer King Empire View was just what we needed for our NYC Trip. The Archer Hotel site is very clear and detailed in the room size and layout. There is a 360 degree view of the room and the square footage is clearly stated. The room is small and Archer is transparent on that fact! The view is amazing and it is NYC so how much time is spent on the room? Archer provides little details in the room that make the space cozy and inviting. No concerns with cleanliness, mattress, bedding, etc.The location is great. Close to Bryant Park and once again the views of The Empire State Building are amazing. The check in process was easy and the lobby and roof top bars provide excellent drinks and food if you do want to stay on.Great stay. Five stars all around. See the pictures to show the room and view.
