Washington Jefferson Hotel Reviews
Stayed at this hotel with my mother, aunt and cousin back in 2022 when attending my other cousin's graduation recital at Julliard. The room we stayed was good with nice beds and restrooms. The hotel has it set up that in order to use the elevator to go the floor where you room is at, you have to swipe your room key ensuring good safety. The hotel is a good walking distance away from Times Square. Overall, a good hotel with good service.
Nov 07, 2024 · Anthony DivinagraciaStayed here for one night and arrived late so it was straight to bed and left first thing in the morning for my NCL cruise so i didn't really get to test the amenities. That said, the Washington Jefferson Hotel was more than sufficient in what i needed it for at a reasonable (by NYC rates) price. The hotel is also only 1.1 miles away from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal which is less than $20.00 for a taxi.
Oct 25, 2024 · John LastnameFirst time staying at this hotel, chosen for its availability (I booked shortly before arrival), location ⭐️, being a few short blocks from the theater I had tickets for, and it’s group, Triumph. The room was very small even for NY standards, no closets, just pegs on the wall, Queen size bed and bedding was very comfortable ⭐️ with two drawers in it’s frame. Two small metal night stands and one metal chair. Barely enough room for our two small carry on size bags left on the floor. It had a window that looked out to a courtyard and the walls surrounding it. The bathroom was a comfortable size and the room and bath were apparently recently renovated giving both a clean fresh look. It contained a Wall TV, phone, no clock, hairdryer, and the minimal bathroom supplies. K Coffee in the lobby although not until 7am.Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted our sheets changed daily and we felt that was not necessary although we did request fresh towels for our 3 night stay.No one entered the room so we ended up removing our own garbage and leaving a used pile of towels on the bathroom floor.Staff was friendly and accommodating ⭐️There was some construction going on above us accounting for some noise, surely a temporary thing. This room, a Superior Queen is definitely for a minimalist.
Nov 16, 2021 · nancy hendricksonStayed 1 night in room 336 which was a Studio Queen. Room was extremely small but I was alone so it doable. The bathroom was lovely. Room had a closet, safe, and a fridge.Stayed 1 night in room 635, Deluxe Studio King and it was great. Bed was comfortable, had a desk, fridge and closet and more space. Bobby at the front desk was very helpful in allowing me to check in early since my room was ready. There is a gym on the main floor with the bare essentials. Just a treadmill, elliptical, bench, and some free weights but I was still able to squeeze in a nice workout on both days. Location was fantastic. Close the subway, lots of food around, and not too far of a trek to the entrance of central park. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
Jun 08, 2022 · Ngọzi O.We loved the location of the hotel and will probably stay again on our next visit. If you are going to a show it is in an excellent location. It fit our needs perfectly as there was also a mini fridge, air conditioner, tv and small desk. When we stay at hotels in nyc we typically only use the room for sleeping as we are out all day enjoying the city and tend to go to a show at night. So for us it was perfect for a 2 night stay. The staff is very friendly and they provide water bottles upon arrival. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely air conditioned. There was a window for natural light which was nice. We also asked for extra soap and towels and the front desk was happy to provide.Just a couple recommendations to make the room A+. The bathroom probably needed some attention as the sink and tub did not drain well and the door did not close shut. Also we tried to book the room through the hotel website versus a 3rd party but it was really difficult to figure out so we ended up going with a 3rd party app.Overall a great option for a couple. It has a great location for shows and tourist activities, friendly staff and a comfortable room. We would book again when we come to the city for a show.
